"We have hit a sweet spot here with Gypsy Jazz," said Scherer.
"Everyone in the band has played the gamut of musical styles - from Rock to Latin & Salsa and then Classic

About the Gypsy Trio
Formed in 2011 in Sonoma County, The Gypsy Trio, consists of the best musicians the
area has to offer. Ian Scherer, Joel Kruzic, and alternating, bass players Angeline Saris and
Michael Leal Price. The Chemistry of The Gypsy Trio is greater than the sum of its parts. The
two guitars "weave" back and forth switching between lead and rhythm guitar and, at times,
play the same part, but always in perfect juxtaposed harmony; the bass alone holds
down the bottom rhythm. Together, the relatively new band has played numerous venues
including KJZY's after work concert series, Gualala Jazz Festival, Faifax festival, and many others.
